started working on this in january & then got hurled face first into an absurdly busy semester in a way i REALLY wasn’t expecting. finally had the time to start working on it again in april, & now here we are. very glad, in some ways, for that “break”– i did a little cabaret/musical at one point in there & having a reason to sing regularly again made hitting that last “TIIIME” way easier than it was in january 😬

now… the video i posted of this song on june 30th 2010, presumably not VERY long after i finished it. i say that i wrote it “a while back” in the accompanying deviantart post, but i was massively impatient, so that probably meant a matter of days or weeks rather than months.

the vulnerability of posting videos of myself as a teenager youtuber never gets a lot less raw. however, i have an enormous amount of affection for this one because i’m watching how i move & express myself in it & thinking about how i wouldn’t learn that i’m autistic for over a decade. that’s very, very funny & sweet.
